Dearest bassist, first of all, you don't know my tastes, and you can't say I know nothing about music, so you get tagged as an IGNORANT. Also, I’m not aggressive at all, but I like people who know what they’re talking about and who express themselves with CALM. The long-time fans and die-hard fans of this band have always said this IS A SHIT ALBUM, but I don’t care what others think, so I’m telling you I DON'T LIKE THIS ALBUM, happy now? Furthermore, I have also demonstrated, song by song, WHY I DON'T LIKE THIS ALBUM. As for love songs, do you know Elton John or others?? Well, those guys know how to make love songs, not Kiedis, who does them just to make a COMMERCIAL ALBUM (you would agree that this is a commercial album, right???). They are called RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS precisely because they make music that should be SPICY, HOT, SEXUAL, EROTIC TO THE MAX! And that doesn’t happen on this album! MUSICIALLY THEY ARE EXCELLENT, damn, Flea is a legend, Chad too, Frusciante less so, but... saying that Kiedis has a pleasant tone (especially live) is BLASPHEMY. Kiedis doesn’t have a nice voice. No doubt about it. Then another blasphemy: "Red Hot Chili Peppers, one of the best bands in history and our time." I mean, are you putting the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the same level as PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, RADIOHEAD, JIMI HENDRIX, ROLLING STONES...? The Peppers have made a masterpiece, BSSM and various SHIT ALBUMS: One Hot Minute (but I’m sure you like it, in fact, I’m sure that when you hear PEA, you get an erection) and... By The Way.

Dear bassist!! As a die-hard fan of the band, I DO NOT EXPECT them to make another BLOOD SUGAR SEX MAGIK, but at least to create something SENSIBLE and BEAUTIFUL. If for you BEAUTY is Cabron, then listen to it constantly, every day, on your turntable. If for you BEAUTY is hearing Anthony Kiedis talk about love and being romantic when until recently he was all about SCOPARE, feel free to enjoy this album!! I have never mentioned stagnation, but for me this album is terrible and I've commented on it! If you don't like BSSM or other albums in their repertoire or if you don't understand them, well, I don't know what to do. This album is OBJECTIVELY A PIECE OF SHIT, maturation or not. Period.

The album is "cute" even though Nirvana's masterpiece is In Utero. This is the album for pimple-faced young lads who act all hip, and to seem a bit alternative, they listen to Nevermind, pretending they actually liked it. It is certainly important as an album, but it’s not that great of a masterpiece. 4 is even too much.

No, I wasn't at Glastonbury (I wish!!) however I watched the concert on DVD (I don’t think it’s an official DVD). Given my reverence for Radiohead, I felt it was appropriate to pay tribute to them with this review.
