Grant, I also read (actually, I saw the interview where Noel said this), but anyway Gallagher has always attacked Radiohead at least since the time of Kid A!

Great review, you captured our reality. Yes, Italy is no longer there. The people from the past are gone, the politics of the past have disappeared, the artists who used to speak about Italy are either dead or have lost their minds. Even the football of yesteryear is no more. We are a country that 15 years ago chose to "change" for the worse, though. In the last 15 years, everything has gotten worse, everything. And you've written a fantastic review that I fully agree with; well done, you're making me reflect.

Pier Paolo Pasolini Comizi d'Amore

An extraordinary document of yesterday's Italy that resembles today's, indeed back then there was PPP, today I don't think such an intellectual exists in Italy.

everything very beautiful
Afterhours I milanesi ammazzano il sabato

Tarantella all'inazione is one of the best tracks by After! What's going on? Did they have to keep being dark and sad and keep redoing the same riffs? Please. You don't understand anything about the album or about After; otherwise, you'd know that with every album, there has been a change. After never repeats themselves, and a taranta-rock piece like that is one of a kind.

I see the vote 1 and act accordingly. 1 for you. 5 for them; the album deserves a 4, but it really pisses me off to see an After album rated a 1. The lyrics are ironic, frenzied, dark, less captivating than those of "hai paura" or "quello che non c'è," but still excellent. The music is well-crafted: odd time signatures, tarantellas, rock, ballads, the 70s, the 60s, an amazing mix. A varied album but not banal. You, I’m sorry to say, have been banal. Not them.
