greengirls, the music we listen to is not "unknown to the world": prog, fusion, metal, jazz EXISTS! Maybe it's you who doesn't know the "music of the world."

Daedalus, in that musical culture that will form later, I hope for it too, I had the concept in mind. However, I was not aware of the psychological influence that could delay or even block a possible future musical culture... because of my own and our shortcomings. This is the only thing that saddens me. Then, returning to another topic, for me personal tastes are untouchable because they are subjective (and therefore I respect them). What I do not respect, besides the audacity of believing one knows everything, is the disregard for "general musical ideologies" (e.g., music is art), because for me they should be the cornerstone of one's musical culture. After all, these substantive concepts exist, they have emerged on their own and can be understood, and, more importantly, they are the ONLY absolutely OBJECTIVE thing about music.

It might be because of the name "frasco" (even if my name isn't Francesco...) but I completely agree with Francesco Alberoni and Daedalus... but we are men who love challenges! It's by challenging that we manage to win! Although Daedalus's phrase really illuminated something true that makes me feel bad: "In addition, this way BillieGirl, out of spite, will never go listen to anything else, and she won’t be able to redeem herself." What a pity, I could feel guilty for having blocked the cultural growth (musically speaking) of BILLIEGIRL (although I find it hard to believe that a girl can stray from a reality like commercialism, which is the order of the day nowadays, especially for her, having parents (I assume young) who listen to Green Day (and so I deduce they are "trendy" parents) and a brother who works (and makes a killing) on some MTV programs).

(unlike you, I feel your genres, your music. that's what I wanted to say. I explained myself poorly)

Can you really criticize the genres I listen to if you don't even know them? I sure hope not, otherwise you're just a clown who doesn't know what they're talking about! Unlike you, I (unfortunately) hear Green Day because they play them at any hour in any place... probably because it's a trend!

I listen to something you don't even have an inkling of: prog, jazz, fusion, metal, rock (and I'm talking about real rock)... and then... is there more? And you, do you know what genres those are? Have you ever listened to them so far?
