"Rose" is very beautiful, and the sweetness is less bitter than in Lady Sleep.

Camera Obscura, in their first album "Let's get out of this country," dedicated a track to Lloyd titled ... "Hey Lloyd I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken" as a response to the track on Lloyd's masterpiece album "Rattlesnakes."

And I add, I advise you without batting an eye, "Rattlesnakes" by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions (1984), then "Easy Pieces" (1985), or "Lloyd Cole" (1990), or "Don't Get Weird On Me Babe" (1991) and of course the "above mentioned" which doesn't hold the same merit as the others I just mentioned, but the merit lies with the artist who managed to fight through depression and still give us an extremely sweet album.

DanteCruciani hi, you’re way off track, we’re on two completely different paths, but completely, sound, lyrics, voice etc... David Sylvian is number one in every sense, he has always been a tremendous experimenter of pathos, so as far as I’m concerned, he’s unique, the albums you mentioned are untouchable...

The more I listen to him, the more I adore him. The same sweet and spectacular voice; it feels like I'm listening to his early albums, without realizing that over twenty years have gone by... What a phenomenon, Lloyd...
