Even at that time, there were things that could not fail to impress the imagination: automatic doors, pens flying due to gravity, the costumes, the physical-molecular transition from the lunar base to the spaceships, or from one spaceship to another, and I still smile at the thought because I was little and I was scared to see when there was a "transport" "gone wrong" of some monster coming from who knows where (I’m talking about Space: 1999), while in U.F.O. I went crazy for those space chicks dressed in silver with purple bobbed hair, and when the UFOs arrived with that green liquid inside their helmets, it made me anxious. It was my age; I felt anxiety when I heard the LEGENDARY whistle of the UFO spaceship arriving, which generally landed in the little woods. Damn, I can’t remember the names of the blonde guy and the other one who arrived with their legendary cars, entered the building, and then everything secretly transformed into a mega secret station. Oh, what legendary times...

I agree with Hal on what he wrote... in fact, it’s not easy to give a rating to your review, or to anyone else's, and the same goes for my review of the soundtrack, because the diabolical creativity and execution and the music are something "too big" to say it’s just so, period! Even now, I still have to fully understand the final part, which is incredibly complicated, without a real logical solution because it’s infinitely full of nuances. Anyway, we’re talking about a film that is 38 years old and everything is fantastic, but what do you think about the costumes of the monkeys? They are perfect considering they were made 38 years ago. This film was born the same year I was born, and there are things that stay etched in your memory forever, like the series "Space 1999" or "U.F.O." Those of my generation can’t forget them; they were genius as well.

the monolith can be anything or nothing, and the same goes for Hal 9000, meaning it's all so brilliant ....
