Osho Il piccolo libro della Vita Reale

Regardless of your ongoing insults, Cornell, from what I read in your comment 50, I deduce that you speak without really knowing anything about the subject of SEX-ART-RELIGION, the fusion between the SACRED and the PROFANE—topics that have been a source of study for centuries, very complicated and above all criticized and suppressed by the Church. If you go to my comment 14, I pointed out 2 highly significant books precisely on this study, so what you've written is completely inaccurate.
Sex is connected to God through iconographic symbols: a simple yet fundamental example for believers and non-believers alike to start understanding is the touching of the chin of the Madonna by the Child Jesus. It’s seen as a tender and childlike gesture, but it actually carries erotic meaning in ancient profane art. This transfer to the Child and the Virgin becomes an expression of the spousal love between Christ and His Church. The caress of the chin thus designates the infant Bridegroom, the Child, who already loves His Bride, the Church, represented by Mary.
Another example: in many works, beneath the loincloth, the penis of Jesus in adulthood and even in youth was depicted in erection because it represented the victory of the flesh over death, the sexual organ—flesh (profane)—standing against the spirit—God (sacred).
So the same can be said for Osho and more; they are parallels of the fusion between sex and God in the form of iconographic symbols: which now you also know.
Have a good evening.

Well, the great Osho can never be missing; it's "undeniable righteousness." Feeding myself indiscriminately on Sacred and Profane, even if you have, as usual, 50 books on your nightstand, make it 51, or rather 52, as long as you can find them, "THE SEXUALITY OF CHRIST in Renaissance Art and its Oblivion in Modern Times" by Leo Steinberg and "The Last Temptation" by Nikos Kazantzakis.
