Peter Gabriel Ovo

Yes, it is a passion as a musician and as an infinite soul of a man, extraordinary, and the album of my life is "Passion," which has an inner beauty beyond every limit, and the review that has been written is fantastic, truly fantastic, even if, of course, we all might have different shades in describing it.

When reading this review, one should also read my preface that I wrote almost a year ago.

Thank you, if you don't know Peter Gabriel you need to rectify that immediately because he is a truly great artist, really great, and when you get to know him you will see that those three stars you gave the album will become infinite.

Biaspoint, I was also at the Orfeo for the Depeche Mode concert, oh my goodness how many years ago that was. I've seen them twice more, always in Milan. It’s clear you love good music, which is a wonderful thing given what’s out there. But why do you say that writing reviews is the only way to be taken seriously in this "business"? Explain it to me...

Biaspoint, this is one of your first CDs and you were fascinated by how it sounded? Then listen to Disintegration and you’ll be struck by such beauty; here lies the concept that certain great songs are so monumental that they shouldn't be tampered with through mixes and remixes. It would have been better if they had concluded with Wish, without this album in between, and just left us with that, they could have retired in style. Instead, they (I would say, my beloved Robert) also got caught up in money and commercialism instead of believing more in themselves for everything beautiful they created. What a sublime band, what music they made, but when will there ever be others at their level in the future? We’ll see, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the '80s were LEGENDARY and indelible!

A sidebar that has nothing to do with The Cure, I need some help! Is there anyone who can tell me what that little music group from the 80s was called that sang that song with the monotonous refrain that went dut dut? Thanks....

Wolf? In almost every masterpiece by The Cure, there are hints of joy; indeed, they have the ability to express all the nuances of the soul. If you haven't realized it, the "joyful connotation" you refer to is not what you think. The joy present in Wish has also been in Three Imaginary Boys, Boys Don't Cry, and even in Disintegration; you just need to recognize it and interpret it. The album Wish is simply announcing the crumbling of their native skeleton, but don’t think that the joy they sing about is the same as in the recent albums. Also, I wanted to tell you that on Debaser, you only make disparaging critiques of reviewers with "rough" language; why not write a constructive review yourself? We would be eager to read it, and I'm sure you’d give your best. Haloa.
