Dear Mr. Sfasciacarrozze, I ask you: what (to me) arcane meaning lies behind the classification "Viking" among the DeGeneri? I doubt, although I have never eavesdropped on them, that these individuals devoted to Post Hardcore remotely resemble people like Thyrfing or Falkenbach. Regards.

Of course, Panopticon has been among my recommendations for a while!

Bethlehem play Black Doom, no doubt about it, and in fact they are (or rather, were) the best in this field. "Dark Metal" is great but still a bit raw if we want to be honest; I highly recommend you also listen to their next two works, "Dictius Te Necare" and "S.U.I.Z.I.D.". In the former, the Black roots of the band are very prominent, while in the latter, the intelligent use of electronics helps create an even more decaying and unhealthy atmosphere. If you like this genre, you can't help but like Bethlehem. Regarding Herr Morbid, I'm pleased to see that I'm not the only one thinking this way, but given that the album seems to be appreciated by everyone, I will give it a chance.

Great album but not a masterpiece in my opinion, or maybe I should listen to it more closely. In any case, I prefer Kollapse, which I consider their peak.

I have always ignored them, due to my disdain for their leader (read some interviews to understand). Anyway, speaking of Black Doom, have you ever heard of BETHLEHEM? And as for Dolorian, I have no information that they have split up at all.

I completely agree with Dying Sun's analysis. I consider this album an example of bland and kitschy Gothic Rock, filled with clichés. Personally, I loved and still love Wildhoney (one of the greatest examples of true, inspired Gothic Metal), but I also like The Astral Sleep and Clouds. There's very little left that I save from this.

I have a feeling that only you know this. Too bad it's untraceable.

I think it's the best album by Death, as well as one of the best Death Metal records of all time (if not the best). The title track is a monument.
