I completely agree with the reviewer; I prefer this album much more than their second one. I’d like to point out that "La mamma è importante" has nothing to do with gemboy and similar nonsense; it’s simply a reworking of a calm song by Manowar, but I can’t remember the name anymore.

Honestly, I think the Punkreas have a lot of confused ideas, in the sense that their political ideologies are all over the place, like in the first song "Falsi Preoccupati" they don’t even know what they’re saying, but I have to agree with the reviewer, it's a fun album to listen to and really nice.

I think it's beautiful, both the review and the album.

I just want to say that I was a bit disappointed by the latest from the strato, and the most beautiful album for me is Vision.

Well... you reviewed Cindy Lauper (which I also commented on), Jimi Hendrix, Napalm Death, Pantera... all bands I found interesting. I don’t like the Gem Boy, and under the heading "Commenti:" (comments, you see? It means that people should comment, it’s intentional) I wrote my comment that they suck, that at a ridiculous level I prefer Gli Atroci 10,000 times, for example.
Take a review in a newspaper, and if you don’t agree, you don’t really have the chance to tell the reviewer where they went wrong or where they aren’t understood! Here you can do it, but that doesn’t mean the reviewer should shout like a bully and write a ton of curse words with great flair just to defend a bunch of losers. Beauty and taste are subjective; you should read the comments and keep quiet, and not respond, or at most, respond graciously.

Definitely buy it! For Bustelle, it's advisable to follow their discography...

In my opinion, this album, unlike others that are beautiful from start to finish, has some fantastic songs and others that aren't worth listening to. With "Sussidiario" and "Moda del lento," it was a pleasure to listen to the CD from beginning to end; here, however, after "Provinicli," "Corvo Joe," "Sergio," "Romantico a Milano," and "La guerra è finita," I don't like the others.

I arrived late; in fact, I was just about to review it myself. Great job to both you and the Porcupine, this album is fantastic. I particularly like Lazzarus.

I admit I've had a few laughs with the Gem Boy too, but then I sent them to hell after a while. Every now and then when I'm at the bar and I hear people talking about them, I turn around and realize that the ones discussing them are those typical nerdy kids with glasses and pimples, the kind that are glued to the computer and have never understood a damn thing about music, but through cartoon theme songs filled with swear words, they’ve gotten close; so there you have it, I've explained who the real fans of Gem Boy are.
Because I can understand that, as you say, listening to them in company and having a laugh (but not more than once) is acceptable, but having them as a favorite band is a bit sad.
As for the technique and the comparison with Elio e le Storie Tese, I might have been misunderstood. What I was trying and still try to say is that the Gem Boy are a silly group like many others in Italy, but what can they be valued for? Neither in terms of technique, since they are a completely normal band (I'm not saying they can't play), nor in terms of lyrics, because changing cartoon theme songs with swear words might be funny, but the effort is zero. Damn it, I used to have a blast in elementary school singing Heidi and Geordie while throwing in some swear words, and my classmates and I all laughed, but no one could ever think of forming a band because damn it… that’s not music! The comparison with Elio e le Storie Tese was therefore only meant to highlight that a silly band should at least aim for a bit of success, and they do it, with their lyrics and technique; they are the best band doing silly PROG, and it’s not true that they have nothing to do with Gem Boy! Oh dear!
