Staind Breack the Cycle
Voto:
I downloaded it, I listened to it, and I was quite disappointed. To Bobi and Jackline: listen to Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains, and then see how useless Staind are. Forget about nu metal, these guys are just (badly) rehashing grunge. Bye.

Deftones B-Sides And Rarities
Voto:
junkyards, the Deftones may not be great musicians, but in my opinion they are great artists. ok..de gustibus, but if you don’t like them you can just say they can’t play; don’t say they are a pseudo pop-rock band or that they lack ideas (maybe you confused them with Linkin Park or maybe you’ve listened to them no more than 4-5 times..). Lorenzo, the song is called No Ordinary Love (not Life). Great review.

"you dickheads who criticize with the minds of others" … and here you're mistaken, dear anonymous. anyway, you’re free to stay in your obtuse conviction. x Gaunt Noir: I don’t want an album that’s just angry. I want a serious album, genuinely played, but so far these guys haven’t made even one. you love Slipknot like crazy? fine, but spare the insults for those who think differently from you. bye and have a good summer.

Okay, I understand now what you mean by objectivity; maybe you prefer those more detached reviews, more descriptive and less explicit in judgment. Let's just say that in the review of this album, I couldn't hold back my personal feelings. And anyway, at least personally, I don't consider my personal tastes superior to others. In fact, I'll tell you... I listen to almost everything; otherwise, I wouldn't have even reviewed this CD. Anyway, I don't think (at least I hope) you were referring to me.

let's clarify one thing: the review is NOT an objective comment. a review is an argumentative-evaluative text and as such it has the task of persuading the reader. a review does not represent pure truth, but rather reflects the opinion and musical culture of the person writing it. an attentive and intelligent reader does not let himself be convinced (or misled) by the first review that catches his eye, but reads several, being aware of the fact that what he is reading is an argument/opinion of a person for whom the album may or may not resonate; my opinion on this "subliminal verses" may very well differ from that of other reviewers, who may or may not be more experienced than me. if I find this album pointless, I only recommend it to fans; if someone else thinks it’s amazing, they recommend it to everyone, saying it’s <<bellissimo, immancabile..fondamentale>>. I understand that I exaggerated with the last statement, but the criticism was not aimed at the fans, but at the band (as I have already explained). goodbye

they wanted to cater to multiple audiences, but in the end, it resulted in a heterogeneous, commercial, repetitive work (in certain parts), unnecessary. I respect your position nonetheless; at least you were fair in your tone and tried to justify your opinion. goodbye.
