Red Hot Chili Peppers By The Way

It's true that bands need to evolve... but if you listen to an album like Mother's Milk and then you hear Sto By The Way, not only do you risk falling asleep, but you also risk not recognizing the musicians anymore. DISAPPOINTMENT. I feel very Zigliani... the one who gives the reviews on Counterfield... hihihi.
Dream Theater Falling Into Infinity

I have always considered them excellent musicians, technically speaking. The problem is that they are just monsters of technique, but when it comes to ideas, they leave a bit to be desired. They feel too much like mannerists to me. Just my personal opinion, of course.. I don't know this album anyway.

unfortunately I couldn't make it to Bologna.. nevertheless, I managed to download the live from Toronto in 2000. They are crazy even live..

Great review; I completely agree with easycure's judgment about the cover band in question.
System Of A Down System Of A Down

Two years ago, I thought that Toxicity was the first and most beautiful album by SOAD. Listening to the self-titled album has definitely changed my mind. The album in question is really cool, a quirky and engaging crossover; the lyrics are great too.
x puntinicaz.. it's true that they take a lot from Faith No More (especially the vocal lines) and Biohazard, but I would only call them influences. The System also has its own musical personality. They certainly manage to be more catchy and digestible than Patton and his former bandmates.
Faith No More The Real Thing

Indeed, my review may give the impression of a chronicle... but it's a choice I decided to make (to describe everything in detail, track by track) because I believe that the album in question deserves this treatment. I didn't want to write a biography of the band, nor focus on less concrete and interesting details. Clearly, the "chronicle" style may or may not appeal to you; I welcome criticism and thank you for reading it all :)

3p.o.l. was right, this record is a movie..in the twisted mind of Mike! Although honestly, I preferred him in Faith No More, when he sang (in Angel Dust and King for a Day he really gives his best); now, rather than singing, let's just say he has fun..
