Thanks to everyone for the comments, Friends, and for the interesting quotes that arose from them :) My father always quoted Voltaire to me: "God made man in His own image and likeness, but man has very well returned the favor." As for my relationship with God, it must be said that it's a bit controversial. Here, if I have to stay in the world of music, I believe I see God as Johnny Cash did: a "practicing" Christian, but with a profound awareness of evil. Just think of the discord caused by his cover of Danzig, "Thirteen," which came out on American Recordings. Massimof, it's true. You find God better in silence. Or in Johann Sebastian Bach. Sfascia, okay, I'll try to find some pictures of Glen Benton so I can have a good laugh :) Bye everyone, JoP
Charlie Haden Nocturne

Haden and the Latin "taste." An absolute guarantee of peaks of lyricism and sonic richness, enough to "make the veins and wrists tremble," simply.

@ Morgan: thanks! @ Socrates: :)) @ odradek: great point, rocchetto, I’m still waiting to get my hands on "Evangelista" after your review... It’s always tough to keep up with the shopping list! :) I also apologize because I haven’t been able to include samples in my reviews for a while... It’s simply due to, let’s say, ā€œlogisticalā€ reasons. The fact is that having changed ā€œresidenceā€, the records unfortunately sometimes remained at the ā€œold placeā€. So, I’m reviewing albums mostly from memory, from recollections and feelings. Anyway, at least to get a sense of it, you can find some excerpts from this CD on Nathan’s official website, at the page rivulets.net » Page not found Cheers to everyone, JoP

I would have liked to be there, and your description still brought me there. You are always a sure thing, odradek.
Maurice Ravel Musica orchestrale

Monumental as always, Grass. And thank you for pushing me to revisit Ravel, an author I shamefully know little about, of whom I adore Le tombeau de Couperin. Best regards, JoP

I listened to it recently and wanted to review it. Then I realized you had already done it :) And in a very fitting way. However, that one from Ninja Tune... Best, odradek. JoP

Not my kind of music. Definitely my kind of review, hyperbolically poetic. Hello, odradek.
