Alessandra Celletti Hidden Sources - Gurdjieff/deHartmann
Voto:
Unfortunately, I only know Jarrett's Gurdjieff. But even this recommendation is an outstanding piece of advice and a gap to fill. Thank you, einstein. PS Assyrian Women Mourners! What a fascinating title...

Hi antoniodeste! Well, to be honest, I don't know if it's the album I was looking for... As a Funeral record, it is Funeral, but maybe it's not enough Depression-Anxiety-Metal! :)) Bye, JoP

Always with fascinating tidbits, Lello. And I agree with turkish on the true geography of current jazz. Once again, congratulations, JoP.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerto per Clarinetto e Orchestra in La maggiore K. 622
Voto:
Beautiful review, Hal, for one of my favorite works by Mozart. And I say this knowing that I do not fully appreciate - alas - the entire body of work of the great Salzburg composer. Indeed, Mozart, among the classical giants (with Bach and Beethoven), is unfortunately the one that resonates least with my tastes and therefore I listen to him less. This is obviously a judgment based on my personal feelings and certainly not on the (enormous) quality of Mozart's work, which I objectively recognize fully :) Anyway, I agree with Zigghio. The Requiem was truly his own :)) Best regards, JoP

Eh, eh... Holiness! I was just waiting for your comment! Best regards to you as well, JoP. PS Anyway, the styles of love were "conceived" by Canadian sociologist Lee in 1976, and besides Eros and Agape, there are also Ludus, Storge, Mania, and Pragma :))

Thank you for your comment, Copernicus. And thank you for pointing out an intriguing version of the "Brandenburg Concertos." I have Trevor Pinnock's, but I would like to get another one, so... I will certainly take your suggestion into account! Dear sfascia, just know that the admiration is entirely mutual. You have created sfascia-prose, and the founders/pioneers of a distinct and personal style have all my admiration (by the way, after your review, I got and am "listening to" Hotel Tivoli). As for Agape (?), it is the love that puts the good of the other before one's own. It is the ideal, "Christian" love, as opposed to the materialism (though enjoyable!) of "Eros"! Thank you and warm regards to both of you, JoP

Thanks to Lello, who always follows me closely (enjoy Flammen!), and a warm greeting to Hal, whom I thank for always including me among his "recommendations"! :)) Nobody, by talking so much about double personalities, you made me think of a very short poem by Saba: "Oh mio cuore dal nascere in due scisso/Quante pene durai per uno farne!/Quante rose a nascondere un abisso!". Beautiful, isn't it? Bye everyone, JoP
Pieranunzi / Johnson / Baron Play Morricone 1

"Special Encounter" is a review gap to fill, damn it! I don't know this one, but I completely agree with Hal: Pieranunzi is indeed a sort of musical "Midas". I will remedy my shortcomings on this CD as soon as possible! Saludos, JoP
