I don't know, if you like metal, listen to metal... but rather than Cradle, it's better to listen to Faith No More. Yes, mom, I KNOW they're two different genres! But the themes and atmospheres are similar, and these guys just seem like the pompous, intellectual version of Marilyn Manson. At this point, better Manson or, indeed, Faith No More, who at least laugh at themselves with so much self-irony. Anyway, "Vampires" was a more than decent album. And (provided that you have sexual tastes similar to mine) I've always loved their backup singers who are so "nature-loving"... the review is fine, just a bit too much for insiders. But maybe you're right, AR: who the hell clicks on this review if not someone who listens to metal?

It may seem trivial what I'm writing, but it's thanks to the help of Faith No More that I can boast about having performed a real exorcism a couple of years ago. A colleague of mine (more out of arrogance than genuine passion, anyway) suddenly became obsessed with Marilyn Manson. Oh, how cool this is, how innovative that is, what a great voice, what rhythms, what themes, what dark music, and so on—the usual fan nonsense. I let him ramble on for a month: I wanted to see if he'd tattoo himself or maybe change his look, but nothing :-/ The fact is that, having the nerve to endure Manson’s mp3s in the office, I handed him one morning the CD of "Angel Dust." “Trust me,” I said with a satanic smile.
