A terrible film, probably the worst performance by Norton, who, let me say, seems to have nothing to do with the model Nazi. Unbelievable and Hollywood-style content: highly improbable. A film with similarly improbable content but nonetheless better executed is instead "L'Allievo."

This site is taking a truly unpleasant turn (and most likely only I’m noticing it): too much arrogance and an eagerness to seek precision in every response and comment crafted to be flashy and deliberately "precise"; pompous reviews of equally pompous films; pagan idolatries reviewed, and so on.. Personally, I find this review really spot on, a sign of good taste and a more than enviable refinement (Pasolini, to say the least, I adore him!) but what I truly don’t understand are these constant rebuttals from "certain" de-baser fans who do everything to dot the "i"s that are already explicitly provided. It’s a real shame, especially since film reviews became a thing: reviews on CDs have become merely predictable and repetitive, really not very constructive, while those on short films are, aside from a few anomalous cases, disorderly, self-congratulatory, and frankly poor (especially those that make expressly factual mentions that frankly, in my opinion, discourage the desire to read them). My opinion is such and such it remains, but I simply cannot stand certain individuals, and I suggest they do something else that pleases them and takes them away from their psychoneurosis, like, for example, going outside (just to start understanding that there is a world out there). Great review, well done punisher.

One of my favorite bands for their attitude and ultra-sonic cynicism, however, I find them decidedly uncomparable and/or unassociated with the Jesus and Mary Chain, especially regarding the functional and temporal analogy you mentioned. Without a doubt, here the blues, more than being rediscovered in a noise key (which, in my opinion, is more explicit in the Birthday Party or Scratch Acid), is deconstructed with a methodical intensity that raises the hair on your skin. Many have labeled them no-wave, while I prefer to define them outright as no-sense, given the fragmented and schizophrenic meters that their songs proclaim with a parodic voice. With them, bands like the Stooges, Rolling Stones, and Einstürzende Neubauten are desecrated to the point of implying the impossibility of progressing or evolving towards new experimental horizons, asserting a disillusioned lack of perspective towards the future, which is seen solely in a clownish way, becoming an object of mockery and self-destruction. Hats off for the listen, my friend; this stuff is absolutely mind-blowing, to say the least!

by the way, industrial metal is more about Ministry and many others..

With all due respect for the author of the review (very disillusioned and spot on), I would like to point out that, in a disenchanted way, this CD is decidedly ill-fated, lacking soul, like the entire current landscape numbed by the massification of “U.S.A. throwaway” art. There is little to compare with the past here; this is pure sheen: you unwrap a lengthy cover and you don't even find the CD inside.

Great film, able to lay bare the brutal execution endured and perpetrated against Christ from a purely human perspective (are there then so many other sides to interpret?). This film should not be read canonically or superficially like the subsequent Apocalypto, made to lure various audiences into the box office trap through violence. It is a film that leaves something behind and, in my opinion, this is undeniable, perhaps precisely because it tackles such a strong theme as the end of the first and last "son of god," an object of fascination even in today's world, made up of pure nihilism, sex, drugs, and hypocrisy (which, in the film itself, as in the story of Jesus, feasts at every single moment!). Are there really so many differences between now and that era?

Extremely beautiful: also great was Iggy's participation.

I didn't dislike the film at all, even though it doesn't fully reflect what King (with great skill) is able to distort from the story. The scene where Todd gives the old man an SS uniform replica and forces him to march is unsettling... it makes you want to jump through the screen and kick both characters! A fantastic ending with the vintage track "Das Ist Berlin" playing in the background.

Violent Shit is the most disgusting film I have ever had the chance to see. This has never been seen.
