Congratulations, you have renewed the old "track by track" style with an unusual culinary setting, even if personally I try to avoid sushi as much as possible due to hygiene-related phobias. The group? Yes, you're right, they are nice.

@Macaco: it's true, despite the fact that Italian fascism often used violence and intimidation against political opponents, the number of dead can be counted on the fingers of one hand, and this is also reported by sources from the opposing political faction. Perhaps many were bothered by this fact because it was used in a sneaky way, almost suggesting that "then fascism wasn't so bad after all," but this probably wasn't your intention. Then a question: does this book only list deaths and massacres or does it also discuss the economy and social life?

The comparison between the "death tolls" of Nazism and Communism doesn’t seem very significant to me; the difference in duration and spread is too great. However, if for sixty years it was preferable to live in Japan rather than in Vietnam and in Italy rather than in Romania, there must be a reason...

This review reminded me that I have read "The Castle" and "America" but not "The Trial": a serious oversight! Thank you for reminding me.

@Reverse: well done! As for "Early" by ACR, I gave it a listen some time ago; it had some nice gems like "Shack Up," but also too many instances of the sappy easy listening they started leaning into from '82 onwards. The choice is yours.

@Canidescuro: I won't deny it's seminal; the vote is based on my personal tastes. In this day and age, there are at least twenty bands I like more than the KJ. Anyway, you know I'm never generous with my votes. "Wardance," though, yes, it's a great track.

@GiovanniA: listen to the samples of my reviews on Atrax Morgue and Whitehouse regarding this...

""The Wait," which seems to want to embrace metal" and in fact, if I'm not mistaken, Metallica did a cover of it. I recognize the importance of the album in question, but personally, it has never really grabbed me. And I can't stand "Requiem."

I would suggest to Reverse to dive headfirst into the ACR (perhaps with "The Graveyard & The Ballroom") because the little I've heard from Scritti Politti made me feel like I was listening to George Michael's pre-Wham! formation, but maybe I was just unlucky to download the wrong tracks....

I still haven't felt like buying something from Rice even though I've seen it in person and it really is impressive. Anyway, if I've survived Whitehouse and Atrax Morgue, I think I can handle it.
