Oriana Fallaci Se Il Sole Muore
Voto:
Of Fallaci, I have only read "Niente E Così Sia," and it wasn't bad at all; a good novel-reportage on the Vietnam conflict.
Alessandro Manzoni I promessi sposi

I will tell you that while reading "L'Italiano o il confessionale dei penitenti neri" by Ann Radcliffe, it felt like I had in my hands a Gothic version of "I Promessi sposi." It’s worth noting that it was published in 1797, 25 years before the first version of Manzoni's novel. Could it be that good Alessandro, who made us copy when it was time for the essay in class, was in turn a script?

Excellent review that perfectly matches the carnival season.

@Supersoul: don't you think it's revolutionary that all these openly gay people (like George, Burns, Almond, etc.) have become acclaimed stars when just a few years ago they would have been nothing but outcasts?
Vasco Rossi Il Mondo Che Vorrei

I would listen to this album at most instead of watching Zelig on TV. Anyway, while watching the rain of "1" on the album, a question spontaneously arises: why aren't the tens of thousands of fans who fill Vasco's big concerts seen here?
J.R.R. Tolkien Il Signore degli Anelli

@Psycho: provincial champion? Then you could teach me some tricks! I’ve never been ā€œsickā€ for role-playing games, but I did play quite often during that time, just not at your levels. Even now, every now and then with old friends we have a "revival" night.
Massacre Killing Time

A charming review as usual. I ignore the album, but I have something from Frith's Death Ambient project, a bit too minimal for my tastes.

@Geenoo my comment was half-serious, anyway I won’t have any trouble trying to read it, I’ll borrow it from my brother-in-law; although I’m discouraged by the fact that even he, despite his good intentions, was unable to make it to the end...

I managed to read the entire endless "War and Peace," but this fantasy brick I really never considered. Maybe it's because I've always preferred Starquest to Heroquest...
David Fincher Seven

Good movie, even though the ending, with the serial killer turning himself in, getting arrested, brought before the judge, and then in the desert in about half a day's time, is not very believable.
