A good movie despite the clearly limited budget, practically only one special effect: that of Sadako (without nails, but not without fingers!) emerging from the screen, and what an effect..... brrrr! I won't comment on the acting of the actors, also because the Japanese have a different facial expression from ours, although the protagonist's expression after hearing her ex-husband die on the phone didn't seem that terrified. The idea of Sadako's unsteady gait, achieved simply by making the actress walk backwards and reversing the film, is excellent.
Italia - Nuova Zelanda Amichevole di rugby - 14/11/09, Stadio Meazza - San Siro (MI)

Rugby has nothing to do with Italian sports tradition? Have you ever heard of Calcio Fiorentino? Getting outraged on behalf of the Maori over the use of the Haka is comical, especially since many All Blacks players are Maori. If you had played one more game on the Playstation instead of writing these superficial comments disguised as a "review" of a match you haven't seen, it would have been better.

What a coincidence, just these days I wanted to order it from my trusted dealer. Surely a record with the BASS and VOICE that defined the early 80s must be at least interesting, and if you tell me that its value is greater than the sum of its parts... it has to be mine!
Maurizio Cattelan Tre bambini impiccati

The intent of Cattelan's work is likely well summarized in Iside's comment no. 3.
Italo Svevo La Coscienza Di Zeno

I found it quite amusing as well. The protagonist's fickleness and opportunism in taking a wife and the endless series of "last cigarettes" are episodes that I found deliciously comedic.
Ferzan Ozpetek Hamam - Il bagno turco
Voto:
Passable film, and still better than the pale imitation of Almodovar's "Le Fate Ignoranti."
The Cure 4:13 Dream

Aside from the somewhat lackluster singles, a pleasant album. Not so for the review.

Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction

The biggest hard-rock album after "Slippery When Wet," "Jump," and "The Final Countdown."
P.I.L. Second Edition

Who knows, when the album was released Thatcher had been in power for only six months, so I don't know if it represents a reaction to "Thatcherism." In any case, it’s an amazing album where Lydon blends punk (that is, himself) with his passion for Jamaican dub, all soaked in a unique sense of (para)noia and gloom.
