Nine Inch Nails Fixed Ep
Voto:
I remember listening to it years ago in a store and it wasn’t bad at all. Really a different NIN compared to their latest productions.

About Pan(a)Sonic, is it possible that there isn't a review of theirs on this site? (besides my VVV one)

Of them, I have "Thirst" and this one, and they seem like albums from two different bands. To be honest, I prefer the freejazzpunkenglish physicality of the second one over the kraut-dark ambient austerity of the first. Anyway, it's a good record even if it has aged rather prematurely. Rating 3.5
Green Day Bullet in a Bible
Voto:
For me, the problem with Green Day is less about "total lack of meanness" and more about the "total lack of imagination and creativity." Back in the days of Dookie, they were a mediocre power-pop band (as it was called back then), and now they’re just a mediocre power-pop band with "serious" aspirations.
The Birthday Party Junk Yard

Moreover, the Birthday Party should be listened to by everyone who gets excited about Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Fantastic! They, Captain Beefheart and Diamanda Galas are the only ones who manage to make me appreciate something "blues." However, I miss this, I need to have it as soon as possible! It's also true that some tracks from Incesticide and Bleach by Nirvana weren't half bad, they had an unpolished sound and sometimes the songwriting went beyond the usual. Their cover of Devo's "Turnaround" drives me crazy.
Atrax Morgue Paranoia
Voto:
Wow, I hadn’t heard all these influences in this record! But of course, the voice is filtered in the typical way of many powernoise or techno-dark projects, including certainly the Skinny. I didn’t catch any similarities with Pan Sonic either because I don’t have either Kulma or Kesto.
Atrax Morgue Paranoia

The comparison with Suicide was limited only to "Frankie Teardrop," which certainly inspired our Atrax for the idea of "white noise + inhuman screams" that runs throughout this CD. But the records by Suicide are definitely more diverse.

Hey Zion, be careful, this is a whole different thing, and as I said, it’s much more successful in terms of expression than music. Anyway, I’m making the samples available, judge for yourselves.
Nine Inch Nails The Fragile

No thanks Nuclear, I just wanted to make it clear to Mr. Alessio that I am not the metalhead he thinks I am. Despite the criticisms, I am glad I wrote this review. Maybe if I could redo it, I would remove the last sentence which is a bit provocative, but I was tired of hearing enthusiastic opinions about this album that, in my opinion, is more smoke than meat.
