I just bought it new for 10 euros and I think I made a great deal. Maybe as far as sound goes, Einstürzende have not much more to say (they haven't changed much compared to what they've already done in Silence), but the songs are definitely there. My rating is a 3.5, which could grow with more listens.

Well done Donjunio, this review was exactly what was missing. You did an excellent analysis; the only point I would make is that Thatcher was already in power in '81, but everything else is impeccable.

For me, there's no discussion about the worth of "Reproduction" and "Dare!", but the experimentalism of "Travelogue" feels gratuitous, like "now I'm just tinkering with the synths and randomly finding some cool sounds." The songwriting is really lacking in inspiration, aside from a few exceptions I've mentioned. Anyway, to each their own; we listen to the same music but evaluate it differently.

Finally! I think I've made it into the Guinness World Records with the least commented review of all time—158 days (I counted) waiting for the first sign of life. Thanks for the company, ngw—even though you didn't like my work, I actually noticed that there's that extra "like" in the third line that slipped my mind :-) Jokes aside, from the rating you gave the album, I gather that you don't agree with me, but could you satisfy my curiosity and tell me what score you'd give to "Reproduction" and "Dare!" if you rated this one 4/5?
