Cranes Self-Non-Self

I'm sorry everyone, I didn't mean to disappear but I didn't receive any emails. Yes, maybe I didn't explain myself well with the Shaw-O'Riordan-Frazer comparisons, and I will try to clarify. They are all three singers with a unique voice and style that represent THE distinguishing feature of their respective bands, but who, in my opinion, do not have a very broad interpretative range. That said, I agree that Frazer (I have three Cocteau albums so I think I know her) is the most talented. When I pointed out "comparison in a better light" in parentheses, I meant to highlight that Frazer is a better singer than Shaw, while I find O'Riordan to be the weakest and most tedious of the three, although I admit she has done well in creating her own style.
Aphex Twin Richard D. James Album

A great album with frenetic and breathtaking jungle rhythms like none ever heard before. With this album, Aphex Twin managed to reinvent himself after the masterpiece of "I Care Because You Do" and almost did as well. The review reads more like a comment, so sorry but I have to give one.

Speaking of plagiarism, the synthetic beat of "Kleenex" is identical to that of "The Path Of Least Resistance" by Human League.

Beautiful, beautiful. The only ugly song for me is "Vincent Price."

Really good album, even though I should reconsider it not knowing about the plagiarism. In any case, one of the few Italian albums that deserve to be listened to.

Got it! A good record, really wild but slightly inferior to "Prayers On Fire."

Be very careful with "Unknown Pleasures": it can be therapeutic...or lethal!

Milk + grappa and a nice record and you’ll see that you’ll feel better right away ;-)

Perhaps not one of the "most beautiful" albums in history, but definitely one of the most intense, even without knowing what happened to the singer. The review lives up to it.
