Dead Can Dance Spleen and Ideal
Voto:
A very valid album, although compared to the first one, they seem like a different band. Maybe this album has lost some of its charm over time due to 90s projects like Enigma that commercialized Gregorian and "sacred" music.

Of course I can believe it, Tenshi Sell, imagine that. Everyone has their own tastes and makes their own assessments. It would have been nice if you had mentioned it in this review as well.

As for the name Masonna, I would be more inclined to support the version of Psychopompe. The forced acronym, in my opinion, was only used to title an album for fun (?!), just like the SPK, who gave a different translation of their acronym with each album.

I instead have the Manuale di Cultura Industriale in the Italian edition from REsearch. Truly a beautiful work that sheds light on the founders of the scene (Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Z'ev, Cazzazza, Cabaret Voltaire) and their heirs (Einsturzende, Nurse With Wound, Coil, Foetus, Clock Dva, Laibach, Test Dept.), concluding with extensive reviews of Japanoise and Italianoise and a postscript on radical Techno. If you don't have it, seek it out.
Rettore Kamikaze Rock And Roll Suicide
Voto:
Great Donatella (pardon, Miss Rettore!), the most delightful pop-provoking songs in Italian music are hers. The only tracks I know from this album are the title track and the legendary "Lamette" (Senti come affetta questa lametta da destra verso il centro zac!), the anthem of my childhood. The sound is beautiful, and the pounding rhythms are fun, with amusing lyrics. I’m even considering buying it since it’s priced at € 5.90.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer Pictures At An Exhibition
Voto:
Well, it seems to me that this is an album trying to please those who lack the artistic sensitivity to appreciate true classical music and are too snobbish to get their hands dirty with real rock.

"But why instead of putting this cover didn't you use the one with Cristina Scabbia as a sheep?" I quote N.I.B.II.O. but I would say that a picture of a sheep with scabies would have worked too.

And then enough with the stupid slogan "Cancel the debt," I would like Jovanotti to be lynched by the people who have lost their savings in Argentine bonds.

I don't know this album, but "Skizzo Skizzo" and "Violentami" were tracks with a unique charm and straightforward provocation (even though they were plagiarisms of the Ramones).
