oh no, I read a part wrong... but this makes me deduce one thing: I don’t believe a review that manages to focus on the emotional and subjective point of the album is that horrible. IMHO, anyway.

Okay, no insults. But, excuse me, first you say that the review is too subjective (that is, passionate, purely emotional). And I agree, but that's my style, what can I do? And that's fine. Then you say 1. the sound of the album is not clear; I don't think so, I've listed a minimum of instruments, I've used a thousand words and metaphors to express what the song made me feel... I did my best, after all.
Then you say that 2. I don't express the grand emotions it evokes. But if you've just said it's too subjective, and that's very true, I channeled all the fervor stemming from my love for the album, trying to convey to the reader what I felt. As for Cale's viola, do you count the years? 'Old' was meant in a jovial, brotherly sense. And if you want to bring it to me, I really don't care that much. No hard feelings ;D

For dear vss: aside from the fact that I really don't think you've objectively read my review; you probably dislike me or maybe you had a bad day, because I really don't think I deserve a flat 1. To clarify, but surely all people with a slightly higher IQ and superior musical culture will know this, when talking about Cale's 'old' viola it was not a hypothetical insult to that instrument (because why would it be) but an evident reference to the first album, Velvet Underground and Nico, in which that instrument is predominant. What I meant to convey is that Cale has taken his favorite viola out of the drawer to produce another Masterpiece. As for the genre, if you read the terms "sepulchral," "sad," "ancestral," something should come to mind. And then, you know, dear dad, if you weren't too busy squeezing your grandmother's blackheads, you'd see there’s also a section DEGENERI: Dark Wave Gothic...
Who knows...

The review is very well-crafted and enjoyable, congratulations. I only know this Shannon Wright by name, but if you compare her to Lisa Germano, I'll rush to buy some of her albums.

Poh! It smells a bit of high-bourgeois-snobbishly-aristocra tic way of thinking... However, the review is still brilliant.
