Punisher, I can't have lost my job because I'm still going to school. The other consideration really made me angry, though...
And anyway, if you didn't get it when I said I cried, I meant internally, in my heart... it doesn't take a genius to understand that...

"Fight Lou fight??? But are you sure you understood the lyrics of Heroin? Heroin, be the death of me / Heroin, it's my wife and it's my life / Because a mainline in my vein leads to a center in my head / And then I'm better off than dead / Because when the smack begins to flow / I really don't care anymore"
Yes, I know: Lou Reed is powerless and helpless, bound by his own weakness and divine pleasure. I know he is aware of his condition, a condition he has even sadly accepted... but I don't like it that way: it inspires me with tenderness and compassion. That's why I shout FIGHT!
bowie&barrett let me know, okay? ;D

Right now I'm listening to Severance... it's incredible, I'm still crying after all this time.
One mistake to correct, please: the title of the Cocteau Twins is Carolyn's Fingers, my bad, I admit it, I was a bit mixed up...
If by any chance you can fix my unforgivable mistake, I would really appreciate it!!!! ;D

1 In Parma it may not be sold, but I truly believe it is, however, it is available on IBS. 2 We have never called each other in these four days: this is just defamation. 3 If I really wanted your review to be condemned, I wouldn't have given you a four (and then a 5/5 to make up for the previous mistake). Well... I'm sad and perplexed... but enough now, I've never liked discussions that last too long, and feel free to reply, but I won't write here anymore.

And then yes, sorry ingenuapupattola, you’re right: they revolutionized everything, everything... but in which field did they revolutionize? Let’s think about it: while today ordinary people go crazy for the Blues, yesterday ordinary people went crazy for the Beatles; it was among the people who listened to this type of music that this change happened. And believe me, the alternative bands were light years ahead of the Beatles... It’s just that the whole world learned about the novelty that the Beatles brought late and from a group that, personally, I don’t like: all within the pre-set schemes, never breaking the rules or daring even once, with all its members elected to the honorable class of baronets... what’s new? What’s the risk?

The Beatles are the eternal good guys, the hopeless romantics of serenades. But music is something else.

If you have the audacity to retort, know that I won’t respond unless you push it too far.

3. The Alan Parsons Project didn’t initially appeal to me: you had burned me Gaudì, which you said was the best album; I hope I heard that wrong, but I’m being honest... let’s just say I didn’t like it. Sorry, but that’s the way it is. However, considering our friendship and mutual loyalty (yessssss!!;D), I took I Robot... and I didn’t like it... sorry, but I usually do this, Ema: if I don’t like a band, I don’t spend money on them. So, sorry, I may be the most ignorant of the ignorant, but I just didn’t like the APP, period.
I did say, if you remember, that I loved Alan when he was with Pink Floyd: he was brilliant on Dark Side of The Moon, I admit it!
4. Be careful, Ema, I’m saying this for your own safety: there are fans here who truly understand and are passionate about music, especially of the more cult bands in the alternative scene, and if you touch them, oh my, they’ll skin you alive... wasn’t it me who rightly accused you of being closed-minded and obscurantist when you said “Joy Division are boring and monotonous”? The same goes for DCD, and the Velvet Underground... “But is Nico a man or a woman?”...
Crazy stuff, things you’ve said, and there are witnesses, you know?;D
But if we don’t want to turn DeBaser into a site solely for arguments and discussions (trust me, you’re new but there are already too many), let’s drop it there. Point made. Oh, and for once, listen to Joy Division, so you’ll realize that Ian Curtis is a poet and not just a depressed wannabe suicide case.
Hello and enjoy your stay in Florence. Now show your maturity by avoiding further discussions, thanks...
... ufff, what a hassle these classmates are!...(just kidding!!)

I don't want to continue a discussion that has been going on for centuries.
1. The Beatles ARE commercial: they may be the most beautiful band in the world, but they are commercial, 1 because they adhered to the trends of the time, 2 because they actually sold millions of copies.
2. I never said that Pink Floyd are commercial: I have almost everything by them, I love them, and I would never say that... so don't make me say what I didn't say.
