Pink Floyd The Piper at the Gates of Dawn - 40th Anniversary Edition

Hotel California is very much like a song by Jethro Tull...

Surely some expert will be able to tell me if there's any King Crimson song that sounds good on acoustic guitar, to liven up a Ferragosto bonfire :-)
The Beatles: come on... Naranannannana naranana hei Jud.... The best in the world, for goodness' sake, but with their songs I used to ask my grandma for a piece of cake... :-)
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos
Voto:
Too lengthy an album, with some negligible tracks (Constant motion) and overly wordy sections. But stripped of these excesses, it's not bad at all. I'm sorry that over time the band has reduced the progressive element in favor of a techno metal that often veers into self-indulgence. Petrucci is making a solid comeback, while Rudess is noticeably absent.

King Crimson, in terms of genius, were second to none, but they lacked the ability to sell themselves to the general public. They never wrote a wish you were here. They always remained stuck in their role of "difficult and impossible." If any kid knows the Floyd, there must be a reason for it.
Metal Church The Dark

Accept have never been strictly "power," even though they have been among the groups that influenced the "power" generations more than any other.

Bonny, don't exaggerate. Maybe you like Zeppelin more than Floyd and there’s no problem with that. I personally prefer the early Genesis over Floyd as well, but that’s just my personal opinion. The Led Zeppelin, especially in their early albums, took traditional blues themes and performed them in a hard rock style. But the Floyd invented, created, floated in spaces that their illustrious peers only dreamed of...
