Halfway between the pomp of Magnum and the classic hard rock of Whitesnake. At least until the album Babylon, Gary Hughes never missed a shot; afterwards, he seems to have lost his way a bit in a certain repetitiveness, perhaps also due to the departure of his faithful Vinnie Burns. He was also commendable as a songwriter on the first three albums of Bob Catley, the vocalist of the aforementioned Magnum.

All the films in the Nightmare series, except maybe the first one, don't age well. I remember I liked the third episode, Dream Warriors, back then, but I’m not sure it would have the same effect on me now. I agree that Craven was capable of going from junk to masterpieces as if it were nothing.

An ambitious work, full of potential singles. Corgan had over 40 songs at his disposal, many of which will be used as b-sides. On par with Siamese Dream. Something good in the subsequent Adore, then absolute darkness.

But did Britney Spears' little sister make any albums? You know, the hope for a upcoming review...

The best album by Lawless without a doubt. It sheds those grotesque tones that characterized his early works and gives life to a memorable concept, perhaps one of the best albums in the history of metal.
Yes Tales From Topographic Oceans

Yes have always represented the prototype of the progressive band: great technique, a particular use of vocals, refined melodies. Close to the Edge represents the perfect balance, the definitive prog album. In Tales from..., however, the emphasis is placed too much on the technical aspect. Many ideas that, taken individually, are not bad at all, but that, in the overall context of an album, turn out to be too "cerebral," too hard to digest.

Fancuore... You have to watch Italy 1 every now and then to understand the enemy's moves :-) But you know, Vale has been hanging around private networks for quite a few years now. I also remember a show, if I’m not mistaken it was on Rai three, about neomelodic singers where she had a leading role.

I don’t think there’s anything punk about this, but they wanted to use it as a negative point of reference for the prog movement. As if to say, after this, people will get tired of prog and prefer much less complex sounds. The reviewer doesn’t seem stupid to me, but I would skip over Anderson Farinelli and wakeman buffoon...

An album that represents both the cross and delight for anyone who approaches the Yes phenomenon. We are not at the levels of perfection of Close to the Edge and, indeed, the album suffers from too many protracted moments. The idea that by crafting a double album they intended to put all the meat they had on the grill comes to mind in many passages of this challenging album. It should be avoided by newcomers to prog like the plague.

Anyway, Miele, the TV shows in the north are even more ridiculous... full of self-proclaimed magicians, pseudo-athletes who brawl... Better to watch little TV... :-)
