Honestly, I find this controversy over the editors hard to understand. As masterminds of the site and as they have done on other occasions, they could simply refuse to publish reviews that they don't consider to be of a decent level, without necessarily turning into proofreaders. Or, even more simply, publish the reviews as they are, complete with punctuation and spacing errors. If it's true that there are people who abuse their patience by using language worthy of a text message, it's also true that, probably, the same people, especially due to ignorance, are completely incapable of writing anything that is not a text message. After all, the personality of the reviewer is reflected not only in the content but also in the way they write. Now, either you toss their reviews in the trash from the start, or you accept them without creating too many issues. After all, trying to teach a pig to sing...
In my opinion, the editors should limit themselves to checking that there is nothing offensive or legally relevant in the writing. In fact, I believe it's right that everything is perfect in a supersoul review while everything is wrong in a review of any given Inshan, with no one, aside from the author, meddling. And if in the end everything is difficult to read and interpret, even better: more difficulty, fewer comments on useless reviews.

They shift the balance towards metal, displeasing both fans of progressive sounds, who are not accustomed to such harsh tones, and lovers of more visceral metal, who are not used to so much technicality. An evolution that, however, turns into a regression.
