Faith, the first namesake, you'd like more.

The first two are a must-have at all costs, and I would also say Weight of the World. Then I have Higher, which already seems distinctly inferior to me and tainted with that pop rock sound you expect to find in TV shows like Smallville or Dawson's Creek.
Reckless Love Reckless Love
Voto:
With all due respect, Core, but if Def Leppard or Bon Jovi had performed choruses at the level of Beautiful Bomb, they would hardly have sold millions of copies. It's certainly not in glam or party rock where originality should be sought, but this song is really a letdown, especially when compared to something by Wig Wam like Bless the Night or It’s Hard to Be a Rock n' Roller...
Finisterre In Ogni Luogo
Voto:
Yes, 3.5 is the right rating. The early Finisterre and La Maschera di Cera are strongly connected to classic Italian progressive, this one instead wants to have more modern sounds and represents, in a way, the springboard for Zuffanti's solo career.
Poison Native Tongue
Voto:
Yes, I agree with what you're saying. Among other things, a good part of these blues influences will be confirmed in Kotzen's solo career which, having left behind the role of hyper-virtuoso, has settled into rock/blues even though it's inferior to this album (obviously the other "poisoned" ones counted for something).
Eris Pluvia Rings Of Earthly Light
Voto:
A record that marks the rebirth of Italian prog. From a branch of these Eris Pluvia will emerge Ancient Veil, a very interesting duo rich in acoustic and ancient sounds.
Kansas Two for the Show
Voto:
The biggest American rock band, and I'll tell you, I enjoyed them even on an album like Power, which is very AOR oriented.
Ratt Out Of The Cellar

I have the second one, Invasion of Your Privacy, but I know, in one "way" or another, these songs. Nothing to criticize, they’re textbook for the genre, perhaps too tied to the stereotypes that were all the rage on Sunset Boulevard. Unfortunately, the less-than-flattering judgment from fake alternative friends isn’t something you were the only one to receive. Personally, I've always managed to coexist the shiny, polished rock of the '80s with the darker, more introspective sounds of the '90s; that is, while growing and expanding my musical horizons, a part of me has always remained connected to that carefree and mischievous way of understanding rock.

Hi Jargon, what do you think of the first Gramercy album?
Gracious! This Is... Gracious!
Voto:
Both albums have been repressed on a double CD by BGO. Yes, I agree that the second one is a tad better than the first, perhaps still a bit too tied to the beat.
