But excuse me, did he tell you that he dyed his hair?
Frank Darabont The Mist
Voto:
Well, The Mist had and still has quite a few points in common with Carpenter's Fog. Given the atrocities that have been committed against King's novels, Darambot's work is synonymous with quality.

The last great AOR band before the rise of grunge. This and the subsequent Backlash, two classics of the genre.

I am only a folk enthusiast, very close to the acoustic parts of Opeth.

Monumental album, among the classics.

Dario Argento was notoriously a fan of heavy music, and even in his Phenomena, there were tracks from Iron Maiden. In my opinion, the "Carillions" by Goblin merge perfectly with the sulfurous atmospheres of Suspiria or with the tension of Profondo rosso; however, I find that in a splatter film like this, with its frenetic pace, a bit of healthy metal fits quite well.

Amazing album, just a pity about its barely 39 minutes...
AC/DC Rock N Roll Train
Voto:
Honestly, I don't think AC/DC can play anything other than their clichéd rock 'n' roll. In these moments, I always remember Eddie Van Halen's statement: "They always play the same song... but what a song!"

What Fallen says is the most accurate thing I've ever heard regarding a "metalhead." I have also listened to metal in the past, and from time to time, it's always a pleasure to rediscover those sounds. However, my connection to metal was and is primarily musical, without ever sharing any of the thoughts or actions of the "metalheads." The proclamations à la Manowar are, let me say, monstrous bullshit, and those who truly consider themselves metalheads aren't much better than the "trendies," "emos," and "club kids." When you grow up, you'll understand how certain attitudes are just stuff for acne-ridden kids, nerds always pushed away and excluded.
