I'll be honest, if metal has been reduced to this state, it's also due to bands like this. Power metal consists of 15 albums that have made history; everything else is just a copycat version. Why spend money and time on sounds that are recycled endlessly?

Yes, but honestly, as the first review of an album, I would have chosen at least an artist I like. With Dream Theater, there is definitely so much more to write; you can use colorful tones, double meanings—basically, making fun of them should be a national sport.

These were the nerdy friends of Iron Maiden... Somewhere I have a cassette with one of their live shows featuring Paul Di Anno and Dennis Stratton, clearly there’s a mutual understanding among nerds...

The funny thing is that the editors place a nice notice on the homepage reminding everyone how no one is anonymous, and that upon request, in case of serious offenses, they would be forced to hand over IP addresses and names, and then they are the first ones to stoke discussions that could easily get out of hand.
Surely posting a recipe is a nice thing, but it gives a free pass to people who easily go beyond good taste..
As we say in Naples, the editors put the pepper in the whore's ass...

Captain Beefheart or Henry Cow and a bit of Frank Zappa. They’re not similar, but SGM have drawn quite a bit of inspiration...

Bob listens, looks at the reviewer's profile: they left three comments and wrote three reviews, all more or less related to Dream Theater. They are an occasional visitor to the site, definitely a passerby, and with this attitude, we certainly don't make a good impression.

I also believe that prog is just diluted in a sea of metal, but you know better than me that there is a rush to label everything, and that’s how "prog metal" was born...

Because it's actually a rather common attitude in the reviews of Dream Theater and, in general, of the most reviewed metal bands (Metallica and Iron Maiden). For lovers of Dream Theater, this is not a suitable site, especially since there are many who pretend to be intellectuals and would never stoop to such filth. Yours is a good review; you put in effort and a lot of yourself, but unfortunately, here you won't find any support...

A stylish album but certainly more than sufficient, some good ideas and a few misfires, the final suite is excellent. The review almost seems like a tease...

Of course, I'm speaking from a perspective of 5 years of purely guitar work, not for any other reason. It's an album to be listened to as a whole, it won't disappoint.
