Well, Naked Sun were another band with multiple influences, but they were essentially prog metal, at a time when prog metal didn’t even exist yet. These Cartoon, on the other hand, are connected to classic progressive rock, but they touch on a bit of everything, from medieval chants in the style of Gryphon to the jazz digressions of the Canterbury scene, and they certainly don't stop there.

He he, we can call him little parsley Schon... A project from 3.5 definitely inferior to Journey and the great Bad English, much rougher in sound. By the way, I also recommend some solo albums by Schon, always straddling blues, fusion, and unrestrained guitar work.

Come on, it surely doesn't sound like Genesis, but that doesn't mean something has to sound that way to be considered "progressive." Many "proggophiles" consider it to be prog, and there are definitely elements in that direction; however, it certainly doesn't have the classic prog sound, and this definitely misleads.
