What a shame! I wanted to get "Apogee".. :( at least the mp3 "Grim Reefer" that I heard gave me some hope.

Yes, even though I don't see anything drone in Bongzilla, they are repetitive, always using the same riff, but definitely not drone.

Well, since the time of "Gateway," besides the same "Gateway," only this has come out. Anyway, yes, I agree.

Well done, the review is as alienating as the content of the disc you reviewed. A journey into the knowledge of pain, an experience I recommend everyone to undertake. Indispensable.

3 to the review, because when I hear references to the tools it seems pretty obvious to me. As for the isis, I have never listened to them seriously; maybe I’ll remedy that by buying this, even if I admit I’ve never had high expectations from this band.

I saw on stonerrock.com that a split between Sunn0))) and Boris titled "Altar" has just been released, do you know anything about it? "This is the special limited edition 2CD set that includes the 28+ minute drone epic bonus track: "Her Lips Were Wet With Venom" featuring Dylan Carlson of Earth!! Also featuring guest vocals by Jesse Sykes, Kim Thayil, and Joe Preston. Super deluxe packaging!! Altar is a true collaboration album between SunnO))) and Boris that is a result of both bands conceptualizing, writing and recording the album together as one entity. Both groups have stepped outside their previous sounds and created a wholly unique album that stands on its own unique ground. There are elements of each group's trademark sound within the album but true to each group's progressive and experimental aspects, Altar moves into a completely new dimension.
