Front Line Assembly State Of Mind

In my opinion, Front 242 are nothing exceptional; they are a cult, sure, hyped up by critics and relegated to the Olympus of the greats of the genre (it's worth remembering that together with DAF, they were the first to dive into the technological industrial jargon called EBM), but that's not enough. I find them predictable and boring, too overrated, forgetting many lesser-known bands that definitely deserved more. The top of the class, I reiterate for the umpteenth time, remain Puppy and Fla.

The true story is that Bill Leeb was kicked out of Skinny Puppy because he had strong megalomaniac tendencies and did not accept being relegated to the simple role of programmer of electronic bass lines... The early Front Line Assembly albums are still unripe compared to the more composite, eclectic, and mature albums from the late eighties onwards; I personally can't choose between Tactical Neural Implant, Hard Wired, or the beautiful second-to-last album Epitaph.

Great FrontLINE!
The Heads (GBR) Everybody Knows We Got Nowhere
Voto:
Great fuck! For me, the heads are the exact idea of psychedelia that I have for these modern times........ It was with this album that I discovered them in 2000 and I was hopelessly struck by it, one of the few bands today capable of manipulating a genre that has been exploited for over thirty years, with mastery, passion, and no compromises.... A joint to test this album seems fair to me, because this more than an album feels like a distorted and doped funfair for the mind. Anyway, check out Amazon where you can find the album, I bought it again last summer for a ridiculous amount of euros, try on Amazon US or UK..... Absolutely a must-have album like all the others in their discography, a must for those who love the most explosive and experimental acid sounds........ Relaxing with the heads if you can :)

beautiful rec, I don't know this one yet, but I've got Scott I & IV on loop and a bit of III.... I love The Seventh Seal, one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, along with Amsterdam.... In the port of Amsterdam, there's a sailor who sings of the dreams that he brought from the .....seas.... great choice and you've perfectly conveyed the idea and the suffering of this artist...

Dear Enea, I neither wish you well nor ill; you are a person who exposes themselves (like everyone here) by writing reviews. In fact, I even thought I had appreciated your skill... I'm not referring to Coccoluto or anyone in particular (and I can't feel offended, since I don't have any reviews to my name), but I have often seen your comments a bit paternalistic (so let's take away the heavy stuff, which really isn't suitable) and I just said that when not particularly positive comments are made about you, you react immediately (at least that's the impression you've given ME) with a metaphorical "How dare you??!!!"... that's all. With this, I would close the matter; I don't think it's that important.

Yes, indeed, Immacolata has nothing to do with Special K ;)...I just said that "for your usually high standards," this was a bit sparse, maybe I misused the adjective gratuitous, I meant "self-indulgent," but as ignorant as I am, I couldn't think of the term in Italian...anyway, you sometimes make pretty heavy comments on others' recs, but it seems you don't accept that someone has something to say about yours...this isn't a competition, you know? And above all...we're all necessary, but no one is indispensable. You write very well, but you have a big flaw: you don't know what humility is.
