I believe that his last albums were made to eat, right, because the previous ones sold nothing. Buckley was devastated by this and by drugs; his last works reflect a surrender to life as well as to music. But the albums up to Starsailor are and will always be immortal masterpieces, even if fully embedded in the context of the time. And then, honestly, I love Buckley and I feel like talking about him.
