It’s the same reason (obviously not on those levels) why I switched from singing in the folk-rock group Fall Out to doing anonymous Italian hip-hop, to juxtapose the overwhelming power of the well-known sound from across the ocean with a faded copy of their most black genre, made by an Italian negro (negro referring to the genre I chose) choosing Roman funk, because hhitaliano is now in the veins of Italian music, and thanks to all the MCs who have worked on it, rap is no longer just American stuff down here, but it’s Italic, psychedelic, ardecore and funk underground, or as I call it industriàl-funk, to give my best in that bit of hh I push. Besides being inspired by my favorite rappers, I drew inspiration from CCCP and all the groups of G.L. Ferretti, for their innovation and genre subversion; they brought gothic rock to a significant level in Italy, and in Emilia-Romagna, in the '80s, they made the obsession with Soviet punk explode, so much so that there was even a rival festival with a pro-Soviet fashion for a while... in my opinion, this artist remains one of the most important in the Italian scene...
