For me it's nice but only halfway, it's two-thirds long. In the end, it weakens because the characters' motivations aren't that strong, or at least not emphasized enough, so the "war" at the end feels a bit tedious. Also, unlike Jeeg, there's less real drama and more craftsmanship, which, to be clear, Mainetti knows how to do well.
