I'm not really into RPGs, even though MMORPGs captivated me for a moment... I still preferred the Western ones like Baldur's Gate, although I admit that the seventh has a script worthy of a movie. I also didn't like the disappearance of the materia combinations... Valid at the time, but today I wouldn't touch it with a stick.

ugly to look at, but claustrophobic and oppressive from top to bottom... however, the direction will be remembered, especially in the early part, with sudden camera spins in the midst of the run through the alleys. A product not fully polished and limited by the hardware as well as the graphic engine, yet it still breathes a unique atmosphere. Oh, I solved the piano riddle easy the first time :D

I might talk about Quake 3 later; it’s an essential title in the history of programming as a whole. The Tech3 is the best-selling engine in history (so much so that many upcoming titles are using modified versions of it, for example, the new Wolfenstein and the entire Call of Duty saga. Moreover, it’s the foundation of many other engines, such as Source). It is technically one of the most significant steps in 3D acceleration and for the VGA market, and it also represents the global consecration of multiplayer (now elite). It still reaffirms its relevance today with Quake Live (look it up on Google; it’s free and runs in your browser).

I work in publishing and translation, and believe me, Italian is not the most beautiful language in the world. Every country is convinced it has "the most beautiful language in the world," but the reality is that Italian is a language that is somewhat outdated, used quite poorly by its main speakers, and it can't compete with many other European languages in terms of richness, precision, and vocabulary. It retains a certain musicality and poetic quality, but it’s a language that has evolved very little in recent decades. I don’t know the book, but it seems interesting.

Thank you :) um, the strogg arrive with the second chapter, in the first Quake it’s still about demons and various monsters... I skipped some details, like the fact that for the first time an Id game required Windows, and it was no longer feasible to run it on a 486 but needed a brand new Intel Pentium, preferably at 90-100 MHz. Nothing compared to what would follow, but the race for technological upgrades was beginning. @brat: no, Doom already supported mouse+keyboard, as did many other titles released between '94 and '95. The difference was that before there wasn't real depth and you could only look left and right. With Quake, you could rotate in any given angle since everything was in 3D.

I was thinking of making one about the Plaid a while ago, but they are not easy albums to handle without falling into banality.

For completeness and vehicle lineup, I won’t argue, but the GT series is far from any real simulation ambitions. Try a random simulation from Simbin, from GT Legends to GTR2 or Race 07, and then we can talk about simulation gameplay... As for GRID, it’s a great game, sure, but even there it’s more arcade than simulation.

a breath of pessimism in every cartoon, worthy of the tensions from the Cold War/Vietnam/Chinese Cultural Revolution/atomic specter/economic crisis of those years.

In fact, Richard says he had this metal riff in his hands and at that time he felt like giving a response to the famous Firestarter by The Prodigy, which is based on a similar riff. That said, Come to Daddy is pure breakcore.

watchable if you turn off the audio, better those on Sky... Texas is played with a maximum of 10, not as many as you like, and how can you say that 5-card is more "relaxing"? To me, it seems much, much more violent with points raining down from all sides, not to mention the absurd pack of the higher suits in case of a flush... more violent than 5-card is only teresina.
