"The Mystery Duck" was a trip by Silvia Ziche if I remember correctly, along with "Topokolossal" I believe it's the most mind-boggling and hilarious stuff ever seen on Mickey Mouse.

"Extraordinary three-dimensional video game" slow with drugs, if you see 3D in 2D games it's time to stop :D beat'em all scrolling old school, with too many similarities to Altered Beast always developed by Sega, a classic among classics.

I wouldn't say they were the ancestors of sandbox games since they were linear paths and you couldn't move from there. When EA had the guts, today they would self-censor if an internal developer were to release a game that politically incorrect -_-

p.s.2 especially in the specials, I remember that Lyla wasn't drawn with chaste traits at all, there was a certain influence from manga.

p.s. just so you know, the second season is highly praised by critics, while the third has been rightly trashed.

Years ago, I sold the entire collection on eBay, complete first, second, and third series, with special issues, subscriber fanzines, and number 0. The first series was excellent, the second was even better although shorter, and the third was a horrible mess that I never read all the way through. MM was a dud, it had a short life and I even struggled to get rid of it. However, I do feel a bit sorry about the first 2 series of PK; they were definitely on another level compared to the rest of Disney's productions (plus, right now they’re worth a pretty penny).
