As soon as I saw it months ago, I knew it would win; the Academy loves this type of film. It doesn't scream masterpiece but is clearly excellent. Goodman, Arkin, and Cranston make the film; Affleck doesn't steal the show as an actor (but he does just fine), yet he has talent behind the camera.

Quello che rende tutto ancora peggiore è che vivo in una piccola città, quindi le opportunità lavorative sono piuttosto limitate, e dove lavoro è l'unico posto che assume neolaureati delle superiori. Ho anche un amore represso per la mia migliore amica; è atletica, intelligente e una bellissima ragazza del sud. La amo, ma sono stato friendzonato pesantemente. Lei è la mia unica amica, a parte un altro ragazzo di cui sono quasi certo sia mio amico solo perché è un po' ritardato e non sa fare di meglio. Forse è l'unico che riesce a tollerarmi. E per rendere tutto ancora più complicato, vivo in un cazzo di ananas sotto il mare.

It's a great movie, but it's like a didactic commentary; I like that you're concise, but this is something I can find on Wikipedia as a description.

Only 3 for this milestone? Horror was the first (and a bit the third), this is a perfectly crafted action/sci-fi. Filled with clichés.

I just need the first 3 lines, I'll watch the movie tomorrow casually and I'm expecting it to be more than decent.

I'll be harsh; I don't think any further analysis of this film was needed. It's been discussed for a decade, and more has been said than necessary. I'm not a big fan of the genre, yet I don't understand why the fat guys playing D&D consider this beautiful while the first chapter of The Hobbit is seen as ugly and boring when the films are practically identical. Moreover, Gollum is definitely hotter in the new film, and Bilbo doesn't annoy me as much as Frodo does.
