Squaresoft Chrono Cross

"That Chrono Trigger which is still praised by many today as one of the best games ever made." If this continues, in a short time Square's products will become what Dream Theater and Pink Floyd are in acoustics. If it was met with applause in 2000, today it is a slow game and unpleasant to look at; unlike 2D, 3D shows its wrinkles very quickly.

I haven't read it, but following Travaglio, I doubt that the book contains any significant revelations for me. However, it might be an interesting book for those who think that this matter is just a gossip story, when in reality it's quite the opposite.

I had the third one for the Nintendo 8-bit, and I think I ruined my fingertips on it... back in '87 I was still a kid.

I stopped at the beginning, when McGee was still in the USA, and the episodes were released for free for 24 hours and then made available for digital delivery for a couple of weeks, after which they became unavailable. When McGee moved to Shanghai, things didn't change, and the distribution in digital delivery remained only for Americans and only on American sales channels (e.g. Steam US version, which you can't legally purchase if you live in Europe; Valve doesn't like the exchange rate of 1 euro = 1.43 dollars, so they invented the exchange rate of 1 dollar = 1 euro - those thieves).

Apparently, it went on for quite a while; Grimm even has 3 seasons (!)... apparently in China they pay and ask few questions :P

Grimm has already been released, done and dusted, but it has never arrived here. A series made up of 4 or 5 episodes released in quick succession only for the American audience, plus an interactive movie that’s really more of a film than a game anyway. McGee needs to stop experimenting; he’s been self-indulgently experimenting for almost 10 years, but it’s not making an impact. And if you don’t make an impact for 10 years, sooner or later they stop giving you money.

"created by American McGee (already the creator of the famous Quake)"! McGee was a level designer for Quake 2, period. The fathers of Quake are Romero and Carmack. Technically, the game ran on the Q3 arena engine, quite decent even in 2001, and the bad and decayed Wonderland looked like it came out of an acid trip. I would also highlight the dialogues and speech, worthy of a movie. In fact, it's a shame that the film project fell through; Burton would have felt at home with this script rather than rehashing Disney's version in a dark key.

Yes, but this was still a girls' anime, and there's no escaping that. They don't like DBZ and CT, but for different reasons.

"perhaps the only game, or one of the very few, to offer an almost complete freedom of action and interaction with the environment" Let's not kid ourselves, a random mmorpg, and I emphasize random, gives 10 times more.

"Le performancès artistiche" there is no accent on performances, to look cool by writing in French you also need to know how to write. But is it just me who thinks it also rapes Italian?
