Joel & Ethan Coen Burn After Reading - A prova di Spia

mediocre, one of the lowest points of the Coen brothers
Ariana Grande Yours Truly

Nickelodeon/Disney Channel leftovers
James Cox Wonderland

5 stars for this? Do you have such low standards?
James Wan L'evocazione - The conjuring
Voto:
Wall o' text and total spoiler seasoned with personal thoughts, yay! A classic horror that takes cues from here and there but overall doesn’t miss much, it does hit a few clichés in the face (the dog one, especially, enough with these quadrupeds that sense everything from the get-go and die two seconds later), but nothing significant. The body count is scandalously low (and I'm not spoiling, but c'mon!), the ending, if things go badly, opens the door to seven sequels like Saw, thankfully Wan will definitely let it go after this movie. Perhaps a bit overrated by critics and the public, everyone is shouting horror of the year... for me, La madre is superior, just like La Casa, even if that one is a bit of a different genre. In short, watch it but don’t get too hyped before entering.
Monolith Software Xenoblade Chronicles
Voto:
I was drawn in by the fact that it was from the Monolith, but looking closer, it's definitely not the guys from Blood and Fear.
Mario Cavazzuti Love Me Licia
Voto:
looking at it for more than 5 seconds gives you retinal cancer. The rece is a bad attempt to revalue the smoking crap, really trendy stuff these days.
Christopher Nolan Batman - The Dark Knight Rises
Voto:
I will definitely read it... or maybe not.
Guillermo Del Toro Pacific Rim

Anyone who laments Michael Bay and his abominable Transformers films should be shot and hung upside down in the public square, as he represents the cancer that is killing cinema. Del Toro delivers a cascade of clichés and references that are exactly what the so-called fans of giant robots wanted to see, while the casual viewer is left with a decent film, walking out happy because, unlike when they watched Transformers, they don't feel like killing the director. After all, they went to see a film about giant robots, so what the hell were they expecting? Speaking of Bay when it comes to pacing, there are people who have committed suicide from boredom watching Transformers 3. Del Toro hasn’t done much wrong; this is a genre dominated by toy merchants and has some of the ugliest films in cinema history: managing to serve up a decent film is an exploit.
Terrence Malick To The Wonder
Voto:
Malick sucks, I could say always, but since The Thin Red Line is a discussed yet loved film, I’ll limit myself to saying for years. Tree of Life was unwatchable, and I won’t even get near this one with a stick.
Joel & Ethan Coen The Ladykillers
Voto:
I also think he took more crap than he deserved; it’s nothing exceptional, but it’s definitely watchable. I really like Tom Hanks in this, especially in the original version. Plus, it’s visually a gorgeous film with very fitting music.
