Sam Mendes Revolutionary Road
Voto:
A so-so film, it does its best not to seem boring, but in the end, it's the classic, somewhat unoriginal family melodrama that you could sense from the very beginning. Long pacing and tedious dialogues, annoying characters (especially her) that gradually fall apart under the viewer's gaze. A 2.5.

This review is more or less the substance of a comment from the imdb forum, and also the same length.

Strangely enough, given the cast, it was released in very few select theaters in the US, while here I honestly don't even know if it ever showed in cinemas... I'll take a look at it if I get the chance.
Frank Miller Sin City
Voto:
I don't know how well the transition from cult to mainstream has served the film in relation to the comic, but the tendency to overrate a good work by elevating it to the status of a masterpiece it doesn't deserve, in my opinion, harms the actual product. I've been out of comics for a while, but still, in my opinion, Sin City was never anything essential or terribly original. Just something good.

Another superfluous review of a bad and useless film.

I don't know, are you about to review the other seven seasons separately?

Allowing reviews of certain seasons is like allowing a review of, I don't know, the fifth track of a certain album, the fifth chapter of a certain book, the first 12 minutes of a certain movie. In my opinion, it's wrong regardless.

Heard, 4-5 nice tracks, not exactly pushing the limits but pleasant, Escape Velocity is in a league of its own, and a couple of useless tracks. A decent album, definitely better than the last p(i)attumi... a 3.5 rounded up to 4.
