33/100 on Metascore, it must be garbage.

I had a good laugh when I was a kid, I still vaguely remember the one where they kidnapped Pavarotti for ransom. Honestly though, I don't think I've read a comic strip in over a decade.

Don't confuse films like Shining or Misery (obviously excellent) with TV movies, to which It or, worse, Langoliers belong.

I forgot to mention, throughout my childhood they kept drilling into me that the TV movie was decent, but the book was way better, there was so much more stuff, etc.... It’s not true, the book really sucks too, and the ending is just the author backed into a corner not knowing what the hell to throw at the reader.

It's one of the best adaptations of King, which doesn't mean much since they all pretty much suck. This one salvages itself, mostly thanks to the first part, since the second is absolutely horrible (but that's also King's fault). It's incredible how the child actors are light years ahead of the unbearable adult actors. 2.5 out of 5.
Alfonso Cuarón I Figli Degli Uomini

beautiful beautiful, seen it in the cinema years ago. Easily Owen's best role, having been stuck in bland blockbusters for a while, cinematography that approaches perfection, and a nimble and effective direction. A 4.5 out of 5.

I liked it a lot. Very weak film despite Bale.
Stephen Daldry The Hours

Beautiful, Kidman at her best, a bit boring the episode with Moore.
