And because we're ready to bet our asses that this "artist" is probably worth a tenth of those we "music lovers" listen to (I hope I've coined a new term). Want to prove us wrong? Attach 2-3 samples to the review (biased, but well-written), and give a nod to an album that seems to have conveyed something to you. Because the mainstream will never manage to bring it to our ears. 3:55 AM, tonight I struck out (damn it!) so I'm feeling tense (really tense!) and I have time to respond to you... too bad that odradek got to it first, so you can forget about the book discussion. The screenplay of Léon? It might borrow a bit here and there, but it captures the best of action/thriller/drama and blends it all together masterfully. As for EWS, you can throw all the suggestive content and interpretative keys at me you want, it still remains a half-baked piece of crap. And I repeat, if it weren't a Kubrick film (with its particular visual style, etc...) we wouldn't even be talking about it.

But dear Poletti, my opinion is worth what it's worth. You, on the other hand, give a 5 to this and a 5 to The Simpsons, but can you sleep at night? xD Quoting Odra, "boring, pretentious, unresolved, irritating, and disappointing." There are erotic films that contain deeper reflections on eroticism and the human soul than this one; here, the focus of the film is the bourgeois woman who has everything and doesn't know what the hell she wants, and maybe she could leave it all to go with another man, cheating on her husband, who in turn, at the thought of his woman being with someone else, seeks out orgies and prostitutes out of spite. All in a climate of total emotional detachment, frustration, and self-discovery. A screenplay to be taken and burned on the spot.

but it's clear that with all the badass producers backing him up, he must have recorded something good on this album. The fact is that no one can afford to say that JT deserves this success because he has talent. Talent, my ass; this is a punk who is perhaps smarter than average, but has behind him people who know how to produce and sell by exploiting pop icons of this kind. The pinnacle of the Music Industry. And if in 2-3 years they find someone cuter and with a better voice, they'll bury this guy in no time.
