The reviews weeks before the release annoy me too; I don’t get this rush to be first... if they abandon the trip-hop/electroclash roots, they lose points for me, but since I've only heard 2 random tracks, I'll hold off for now. Good review, but irritatingly premature.

The first time I heard the DT I said "damn, what an incredible guitarist, but the singer sucks" xD

Pino Scotto is a cool guy, a bit of a dimwit, but cool. He expresses himself poorly; in every eight-word sentence, there are at least three vulgarities and four insults, but the underlying concepts aren’t wrong. As a musician, I don’t know much, but he's still better than Richard Benson...

In fact, after making fun of all races, cultures, trends, and religions around the world, he thought it was appropriate to feel offended when Trey Parker dedicated an episode to Tom Cruise and the cult he is part of. What a goddamn hypocrite.

I study psychology, but it's not essential to understand why this stuff resonates so much with those under 14... it's all formatted, pre-cooked, and pre-masticated to hit you hard and sell you the product; there's not much difference between the strategy of Mattel and that of these record labels. But don’t worry, in a couple of years at most, you'll look back in horror at what you were listening to at the beginning of your teenage years :D

I can't stand the character, he's a hypocrite. This doesn't take away from his talent.
