But what am I saying, it's nice if they see the 30... even when it comes to drugs, the world is divided into 2 categories... those who have sense, and those who don’t.

"Example: but why don't they make a movie telling the adolescence of two dumb teenagers?" But what would change? There would just be more depression and despair? By the way, I know a bunch of girls aged 16-18 who are really into drugs, like really badly... and they’re all super cute, if only they didn’t burn themselves out like they do, they would have so many prospects... chances are they’ll never even make it to 40.

seek, you don’t understand anything... it’s very simple, Nirvana was a group of cool kids who liked to play the part of the cool kids... the cool kids who listened to them found it really cool that some cool kids acted like cool kids, because that also appealed to other cool kids, and especially, to lots of hot girls. But since playing the part of the cool kids with 8 zeros in the bank eventually wears you out, the lead singer, obviously a super cool guy, found a way to make the most uncool thing in the world, death, the coolest thing in the universe. Millions of cool kids then lost their sense of coolness, starting to believe that being uncool was becoming cool. Since then, people have pondered fundamental questions like "But since back then they were cool kids listened to by other cool kids, was their music cool or not? And if it was cool back then, does that mean it's uncool today?" A community of cool kids tirelessly answers these and other incredibly cool questions.

Watch that movie Sofy, you won't regret it... and if you haven't done it yet, also check out Trainspotting (or even better, read the books of both :)

Okay, we agree that we didn't understand each other :D It's not just what he says, it's how he says it that I don't like. Then, oh, the review is about this movie, what can I do? Review Requiem for a Dream for me and I’d slap a nice 5 on it (actually, I think it's in the de-database)... but 5 out of 13? No way, not even close for me. And the world is beautiful because it's varied; if this seems gorgeous to you, good for you.

But in fact, I confirm the 2; I've seen the movie and for me it has no reason to exist except for a certain, and quite limited, target audience. Strong scenes? Here everything is censored, where are the strong scenes? Without bringing up blockbusters of the genre, and wanting to stay strictly in the realm of adolescence, a film like The Basketball Diaries is worth ten times more than this.

Dear double "n," if I don't watch it at least once, how am I supposed to know if it's the usual lesson about teenagers or if there might be something brilliant or new? In the past, numerous films have tackled similar themes, but with much more success. And this applies to practically every genre; a film can be beautiful regardless of a trivial or predictable plot.

Well, it might make sense to watch it if you have a daughter approaching the "critical" age and following decidedly unhealthy role models, but for 90% of the viewers, it's a film that just reiterates stuff we've already heard, mostly boring.

The attempt by Disney to let the distribution slide in the quietest and most peaceful way possible was hilarious, so as not to tarnish the image of the (then) newly minted princess. The fact is, the film is a piece of crap; apart from the nude scenes with Bijou Philips and Hathaway, there’s no reason to watch it: it's the classic nonsense about bored white cows playing with remnants of jail. And I wouldn’t dare to say "A semi-successful portrait of the new American generation"; this film represents more of an exception than the rule (rich white women don’t go for Latino convicts).
