I intentionally left out the slower tracks, because SD almost doesn't consider them or mixes them artfully with rock (e.g. Soma).

I don't know how much the singles reflect the quality of the two albums; certainly MC comes out with broken bones, but not because his singles are bad—instead, the ones from SD are true gems. And the situation changes relatively with the other tracks; MC plays the numbers card since it’s a double album, but songs like Hummer, Quiet, Mayonaise, Soma, and Silverfuck are almost unreachable for MC... Jellybelly, Muzzle, Porcelina of vast oceans, Bodies, Thru the eyes of ruby, and XYU try, and in some cases almost succeed, in my opinion.
Mel Gibson Braveheart - Cuore Impavido

Mel Gibson is an arrogant jerk. However, crafting a hateful review about the character in an attempt to tarnish one of the few good things he's done is equally foolish. 1- The story works; if you don't like it, that's your problem, but it isn't the crap you're painting it to be. 2- Copying from the best has always been a smart move when you don't know how to do something or are afraid of going off the deep end. Gibson has created quality fight scenes, and no one gives a damn if, in this respect, there are similarities with films from the '30s and '60s (except for some snobbish buzzkill). 3- Your criticism of the direction is laughable, literally. I don't know how you come up with citing Cimino, Hitchcock, and Kubrick, but you're delusional. So if a film isn't directed by these three, then it's garbage? If there's no obsessive/compulsive pain-in-the-ass like Kubrick (with all due respect) behind the camera, who re-shoots the same scene 200 times exhausting the cast, then the director lacks "technique"? Next time, write an analysis on Mel Gibson; you'll surely be more coherent.

Daft85 is a fucking illiterate scumbag (read his "reviews" for confirmation, even the ones in literary cases) who has been lurking around debaser for a while... feel free to respond to him without frills, he's just a dumbass who has probably heard 20 albums in his life.

The ability to summarize is a valuable asset; the average audience member doesn't read more than 2 spans of text without getting bored.
