yours is a sad fate

The fourth chapter should be nearing completion... terrible movie, like all the video game tie-ins (except for Silent Hill, which is watchable as long as you're a fan of the saga and willing to overlook its flaws). I don't really like the review; it doesn't highlight the only important thing, which is that Kylie Minogue was quite hot as Cammy, and you especially speak poorly of Raul Julia, who, aside from this horrible film, was a good actor and I personally miss him. Oh, you forgot Super Street Fighter II Turbo (man, the names they came up with in the '90s...)

A very controversial character, indeed; after all, he was looking for discussion when he lit his cigarette with 500-franc bills. Artistically immense, I’d be careful with the nickname Gainsbarre. It’s true that towards the end he was perpetually high or drunk, but I wouldn’t want people to think that the nickname came without reason.

Oh, I finally saw it... well done, Nolan. Begins didn’t convince me much, but the guy is starting to show something interesting, and above all, he finally offers action scenes worthy of the name (in Begins they were flat and definitely unengaging). Everything will be said about Ledger, but the scene is all his as soon as he appears on screen. I'm fond of Nicholson's theatrical clown, but the brutal psychopath of TDK is equally convincing. The rest of the cast holds up; Oldman is a bit understated and Caine is always brilliant, while Bale shines as Batman (though just a tad less than in the prequel) and loses some points as Bruce Wayne, especially when compared to Keaton. It's a good demonstration of how the multi-million dollar Hollywood industrial-cinematic machine can still produce decent products, even when it comes to blockbusters. The Italian dubbing is censored; given the distribution and the commercial value of the product, a flawless dubbing was to be expected. In particular, the person who dubs Bale as Bruce Wayne should be struck off the list of voice actors (if there is one). 4 stars in the original, 3 if you watch it in Italian.

Map of the Problematique is awesome. The album delivers, but amidst the clash of ideas, it doesn't quite measure up to the previous ones.
