Beautiful, indeed magnificent, a real trip from start to finish. Great Linklater and a great cast, the film conveys a bit more than the book, but it's a fantastic adaptation of a wonderfully tangled novel, rating 4.5 rounded to 5.

I walk past the castle and send my brother to keep the flag flying high... the combo "live snow on the highway" + "sore throat pajura" makes me opt for a more relaxing soirée, too bad :/

I haven't seen Audition (yet, I'll fix that as soon as possible), but this Imprint is simultaneously one of the best and most difficult horror films I've ever come across. Everything is fantastic—actresses, cinematography, direction, sets—but it takes some guts, and not a little. I don't remember ever suffering so much while watching a torture scene. It remains a masterpiece of violence and gore staged like rarely seen. The review is a bit... I don't know, you've written better.
