I don’t know, with my ex we used to watch them together in search of new frontiers. With my current partner it’s more of a separate thing, but in terms of naughtiness we’re a step ahead compared to what I had with my ex. From personal experience, I’d say it’s better in private.

I commented on it in 2012, but I saw it in its entirety in 2014... in my opinion, it stands on the podium with The Sopranos and GoT, everything else below.
Michael Bay Armageddon - Giudizio Finale

It's a Bay movie, with Bruce Willis, it’s about the end of the world, drilling rigs, and asteroids. Are there really people so injured that they take the film so seriously? It’s a stupid movie, but it delivers exactly what it promises. Which is better than movies that think they're clever but don't offer half of what they promised.

Nice review for a series... alright? It's watchable, and maybe it's an issue for us "old folks" that the fact there’s nothing we haven't seen a thousand times hits the nostalgic side, but after a couple of episodes, the chronic lack of originality becomes noticeable. As you say, memories of the old days resurface, and this is probably what I appreciated the most; from the opening credits, you can feel that vibe... It needs to be said that Stephen King's miniseries were of very fluctuating quality, one was okay and another was terrible, while here we have a series that's very well made.

Is it watchable even if I haven't seen the first two Captain America movies? I'm not too keen on binge-watching a load of nonsense; just a little bit would be fine. I'm starting off skeptical, it feels like another comedy without collateral damage, and that stuff annoys me a lot. At least Snyder was heavy-handed, no jokes, thousands of deaths, and characters that don't hold back on their powers. The movie is still silly, but it's a superhero movie; I don't expect much from it. A film about two sociopaths draws me in more than a movie about a bunch of nice guys.

Just saw it and wow, the rare gem in stop motion that I've been looking for a while. As Bartle says, it brushes against masterpiece.

"Even though the second half of the album is definitely inferior to the first" wow, but what about the subjunctives? Anyway, good album, along with Hullabaloo. In fact, I would say that I liked them until Absolution.

Finally seen. Maybe in IMAX 3D with a half-empty theater and perfect seats it gains a few points, but it seems to me that it has been subjected to way too much crap from critics. Sure, it has almost all the issues of Man of Steel, and even adds a few new ones, but all in all, I find it more watchable than most Marvel movies. The script is undoubtedly the epicenter of the curses, with inconsistent passages, narrative gaps, and awkwardness here and there that provoke more than a few raised eyebrows. The fact is, as far as I remember, I don’t recall Marvel films being much less stupid than this one, maybe more cohesive in terms of plot, but still filled with ridiculous nonsense. And that's why it's almost easy to overlook some "lightness" and contrivances, because the context is so seriously stupid from the outset that counting the details that don't work seems like a waste of time. What remains? A solid cast, excellent music, and tense, spectacular action. Which is what the movie promises.

a bit undecided but these days there's not much to see in the cinema, especially in IMAX... I see it's Disney, is it half a musical like the cartoon?
